My fiance and I wanted a personalized but budget trip to see the animals and "I Dream of Africa" provided us both. The company is locally owned which was encouraging for us, as we felt great about supporting local operators in the wildlife touring market.
Our driver and guide, Sam was very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor! He has experience with conservation, wildlife, particularly birds and elephants. He provided us with one of the most wonderful encounters with a herd of elephants, with the matriarch within touching distance of our vehicle. His experience and reassurance helped calm us both that this was all very safe!
We encountered car trouble on the first day but Sam worked diligently to solve this and because of his resourcefulness we were able to trudge along. His charm and professionalism helped make the trip very memorable. I highly recommend "I Dream of Africa" and Sam in particular. A great value for money and wonderful personal touch.
