Question for RURAL ELECTRICAL WORKS

Am resident of Thika salama areas near muguga how can one get power connections cz have applied at kplc Thika was given 2.6m quatation and when I ask was told the transformers is far above 500m now what can I do and need power we have even try to form group but no benefit
