Maarifa Education Holdings - Nairobi

Maarifa is an ambitious private tertiary education company that seeks to provide high-quality, market-relevant education to more than one million Africans over the next 30 years. Founded by its management team with capital from ECP, the two entities now own 100% of Maarifa. As of 2016, Maarifa has already invested in two African universities (Uganda and Zambia) with a combined enrollment of 6,000 students.
