By providing practical solutions to increase farm productivity and incomes for the poor, while maintaining environmental sustainability, AGRA is at the forefront of a Green Revolution in Africa. Despite the difficulties farmers face, such as poor soil, lack of access to markets, and inadequate government support, small-scale farmers across the continent still manage to provide the majority of the food consumed. AGRA is dedicated to empowering these farmers and helping them to lift themselves and their families out of poverty and hunger.
