Kenya Climate Innovation Center - Nairobi

The Kenya Climate Innovation Center (CIC) is a unique initiative that offers comprehensive, country-specific assistance to accelerate the growth, implementation, and distribution of locally appropriate climate and clean energy advances. The CIC provides incubation, training programs, and money to Kenyan innovators and new businesses that are creating innovative solutions in energy, water, and agribusiness to tackle climate change issues. This venture is supported by the World Bank's infoDev and is the first of a worldwide network of CICs being started by infoDev's Climate Technology Program (CTP). The Kenya CIC is funded by the United Kingdom's UKaid and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
