Tech Republic Africa® was established in 2014 with the intention of amplifying engagement in STEM and computer science across Africa. Their mission is to provide access to these skills to more students, as well as increase involvement from women and those from less privileged backgrounds. They recognize that many young people in Africa lack necessary exposure to STEM and computer science education, which can limit their academic achievements and future job prospects. As such, Tech Republic Africa® envisions a future where all students have the opportunity to learn and master STEM and computer science.
