Company description
Seafront Guesthouse has its own on-site cafe, serving the best fresh fruit juices and Swahili style seafood to be found on Lamu Island.
Set right on the seafront, our traditional thatched ‘makuti‘ roof cafe is an amazing place to watch the world go by whilst sampling the delights of Swahili cooking.
Watch boats come and go, unloading their cargoes of people, goods or even goats, watch Lamu life pass by infront of your eyes, donkeys wandering by, veiled women on their way to market, men stopping to socialise, all of this under our cool thatch roof sipping fresh cold fruit juices made from locally grown tropical fruits.
Seafront Cafe is open to the public from breakfast through till around 10pm, but we offer all our guests who stay at the Seafront Guesthouse a complimentary breakfast every morning.
