Reviews of Fabeth Girls Hostels - Nairobi

This is literary a dungeon in a deplorable state. Marketed as a girls hostel, don't be surprised its a mixed hostel. Security of your stuff is not assured even as you sleep. If you don't love your electricals this is the place to camp. Nobody openly speaks of the dirty environment and an open water tank from which students fetch water with bathing buckets- same water is used for drinking and cooking. There is not hot shower yet they kill you for bringing your heating devices and thus you have to bear the NBI cold water which in some cases you have to fetch with a bucket. They have the guts to ransack the bags you leave behind when you go to work or class but do not have the courage to have a guard maintaining security. Been here twice and boy, unless you don't have valuables or don't really care about personal space don't bother................................The best one was "We have increased our prices because we have not done so in the last 8 years" No renovations, no change in service, no additional facilities, just the same thing but the guts says we haven't done this in eight years so why not do it now. Place needs a thorough revamp ...........
