Clinical Officers Council, COC Online Portal - Nairobi

The Clinical Officers Council was established by an Act of Parliament in 1988 with the mandate to regulate the training, registration and licensing of all Clinical Officers under the Clinical Officers (Training Registration & Licensing) Act Cap 260 Laws of Kenya and became operational in 1989.; COC works to ensure that clinical officers are trained to address Kenyans’ health needs and deliver high quality health services. While the training of clinical officers started in 1928 with hospital-based certificate programs, today clinical officers are trained at diploma and degree levels in 47 institutions across Kenya. To date, the COC has registered over 16,000 clinical officers.
