Karamojong Tour

About the product
Their main livelihood activity is keeping livestock, which has social and cultural importance. Crop cultivation may be a secondary activity, undertaken only in areas where it’s practicable.
Due to the arid climatic conditions in the region, they have always practiced a sort of pastoral transhumance, where for 3-4 months in a year, they migrate with their livestock to the neighboring districts in search of water and pasture for his or her animals.
Food and water is always a major concern and has impacted on the Karamojong’s interaction with other ethnic groups in Uganda.
