It’s very true that on safari you do make some friendships for life. The sort of camps we like to stay at tend to be quite small. Say there are only 9 other rooms you quickly get to meet people. Beginning the day with a game drive together you inevitably talk over what you’ve seen and what you haven’t seen at breakfast. Then it’s the same sort of routine for the sundown game drive and dinner. Also people who go on safari tend to be quite adventurous and like-minded. We’ve certainly made some friends for life from our safaris.
