Nairobi National Park Birding

Nairobi National Park is the oldest National Park in Kenya having being established in 1946 and only a short drive out of Nairobi’s central business district, with a size of 117km2, 1500 to 1700 metres above sea level, More than 500 Bird species have been recorded in the park, The Park is has many different Habitats, each habitat contains various species of Birds, habitats are as follows;( a)Acacia dominated woodland,Riverine& Scrub ,(b)Dams, Rivers and Wetlands,(c) Evergreen Forest (d)Gorges (e)Open Grasslands, The Park has four of the Big Five, Also the Herbivores have their own migration to plains adjacent to the Park
