8 DAYS SAFARI MAASAI Mara – Lake Nakuru – Samburu – Mt Kenya – Nairobi
Day 1: Nairobi / Maasai Mara
We’ll depart from Nairobi for Maasai Mara Game Reserve at 9.00 am. We’ll have a picnic lunch en route. We’ll game drive in search of Black-Maned lions, elephants, leopards, cheetah, buffaloes and other plains game en route. Dinner and overnight at the camp / lodge.
Day 2: Maasai Mara
After an early 6:00 am breakfast we’ll proceed for a full day game drive with a picnic lunch. After lunch we’ll do further games drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp / lodge.
Day 3: Maasai Mara
Full day game viewing. All meals and picnic lunch en route with stop over for panoramic views of the rift valley and Lake Elementaita, arriving in Nakuru in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Nakuru camp / lodge.
Day 5: NAKURU / SAMBURU
6.00 am: We’ll have an early breakfast then proceed for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park noted for its huge concentration of flamingos. The park is rich in other bird life and a number of wild animals. We’ll leave for Samburu around 10.30 am and have lunch en route arriving late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the camp / lodge.
Day 6: SAMBURU
6.00 am: After breakfast we’ll depart for an early morning game drive and head to the camp / lodge for lunch. At 4:00 pm we’ll head for another game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp / lodge.
Day 7: SAMBURU / MT. KENYA
At 8.00 am we’ll have breakfast and leave Samburu for Nanyuki at the base of Mt. Kenya and have a late lunch. We’ll spend the late afternoon in Nanyuki town, shopping for woods carvings. Dinner and overnight in the lodge or camp / hotel.
Day 8: MTKENYA /NAIROBI
