Day 01: Nairobi - Masai Mara
Depart Nairobi in the morning for a journey south along the loor of the Great Rift Valley for a brief stopover at the view point. The Valley is one of the wonders of the world, stretching from the Syria, down through Africa, stretching as far as Mozambique. We proceed further Via Narok Town for lunch. An introductory game drive is planned. Maasai Mara Game Reserve is an extension of vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great Wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. It is one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see. Residents among the Park's are: Maasai Giraffes, Buffaloes, Elands and thousands of plain game including Impalas, Zebras, Topis, both Thompson's and Grants Gazelles.
Day 2: Discover Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Full day will be spent in the Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drive or optionally a full day game run with packed lunches in between the drives. This extensive game drives will take you to the rolling savannah grassland. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and Leopards hiding
amidst Acacia boughs. {An optional opportunity to visit a village of the Maasai
people at a cost {$20pp} to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Also you may enjoy early morning Hot Air Balloon ride at a cost {$450pp}.
Day 3: Maasai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi
Enjoy Early morning tea / coffee or Hot chocolate, then depart for a morning game drive. No matter how much you have thought about Africa, this is more than you expected—in this wildlife safari expedition. After a full English breakfast back at the campsite, depart for Nairobi by road.
