Quality control officer

. Ensure that all food safety requirements are met.
. Ensure that all food products received and dispatched meet customer specifications.
. Ensure that cold chain is maintained during receiving of products, storing, grading and dispatching.
. Ensure high standards of health and safety are adhered to.
. Respond to customer complaints and provide meaningful feedback to suppliers.
. Ensure all food quality and safety paperwork is kept to date .
. Oversee and monitor products shelf life.
. Oversee all new product development to identify any deviations from quality standards.
. Ensure all processing equipments, PPEs are kept in good hygiene.
. Laboratory management, preparation of reagents and keeping inventory.
. Working with procurement department in setting the requirements for raw materials from suppliers and monitoring their compliance.
. Inspecting the final output, comparing it to the requirements and approving or rejecting the final product.
. Approve incoming raw materials by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement tests and rejecting unacceptable materials.
. Ensure that the quality management system is adhered to by all employees and oversee the application in food industry.
. Maintaine safe and clean work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
. Approve in- process production by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests and communicating required adjustments to the production supervisor.
