Service and Product Quality Analysis and Control
In strategic decision to restructure our entire operations of our three tourist lodges of 5-star rating, we engaged the assistance of Egret Consults in making our operations relevant to the circumstances emergent from reduced business activity in Tourism and for an unknown duration into the future.

Ralph, Jules and Tom approached this daunting task with great zeal and focus that rapidly permeated into our Associate and Management staff despite that the purpose would ender some them redundant at the end of the exercise. They guided a collective analysis of all our product-propositions, their service-scapes and processes, job profiles and an extensive staff performance appraisal. And finally amalgamated job roles and bands to resize the organo-structure, and redefined job profiles around the new structure. Lastly, facilitated an respective and responsive best-practice employee-release process that concluded without generating neither guilt nor rancor amongst the staff that we released and retained in our employment.

We are all, Directors, Management, Staff, very grateful to the professionalism of Egret Consults, and have retained them for to future Management Consultancy engagements.

Staff-Restructuring our 5-unit establishments.
The transnational luxury tented camp franchise in which I am a Unit manager required an external eye to guide the synergized restructuring of the 7 Units, a factor whose absence was the cause of a great loss of energy and effect from a disjointed Unity of purpose in the entire range of Group management activities.These ranged from strategic Planning, to Functional process and activities, and into Strategic reviews of Groups activities at the close of each financial year.

Whike a lot of work was undertaken, to the satisfaction of all Line and unit managers in the group, of particular mention the results achieved in harmonizing the Staff Establishments in each Unit and then into the Group, that eliminated duplicated profiles and ambiguities, clarified job roles, and harmonized cross-structural interrelationships within each Unit and also within the Units of the Group.

Our Group has recovered a Unity of Purpose within each Unit and within the Units, achieved necessary symbioticism in the Group, and generated vital energy in all management processes. We are all hopeful of improved performance and an aggressive forecasting into our Planning into the future.

Going forward we have retained Egret Consults Inc as an ex-official component of our Group's Strategy Team, and have no doubts we shall benefit greatly from this relationship!

Brand Footprint Expansion.
Our hospitality Organizarion is expanding it Brand footprint in luxury game-lodges accomodation, and needed external assistance to create synergy between the unique definitions of the various components in different locations, so as to result in a Franchise with continuous product offering throughout the Organization!

Using their experience in the industry, Egret Consults Inc guided the venture process do with great proficiency and with the result that management has finalised proposal to the Board on the most appropriate definition and size of the intended done and Expansion. We have every intention to develop further our relationship with Egret Consults Inc in other matters of our operation. Excellent Safari experience
Excellent. Our best tour operator yet. The itinerary was carefully thought through and well balanced. The trip represented great travel for the cost. Our booking was easy, the pre-information packet was timely and thorough. Interim questions were handled promptly and thoroughly, including going out of their way to help us with some hard to get reservations. The transfers were perfect and done with a high class vehicles. Everything worked like clockwork. However, it was the genius of the itinerary, coupled with the passionate professionals, that put this trip into the A list of all trips.

Stafging Restructuring our 5-unit establishments.
We desperately needed an objective view of our strategy to resize our establishment of 5 units and 768 staff, which was brought about by reduced levels of activity and future projections in our hospitality sector business.

In brief recap, Tom and his partners undertook complex job profile analysis based on businesses expectations, then mounted an exhaustive skills and performace-histories appraisal of all cadres, finally collapsed classifications of jobs with overlapping definitions and then matched these expanded profiles to the skills audited. In this manner we were able to resize our total establishment by 35% without loss of momentum and rythym, and have in cosequence raised raised General productivity by21% as a result of greater clarity in the various job roles and improved effeciency of all activity.

The resized employees were generally satisfied with the fairness and objectivity of the exercise, even those that were retrenched in consequence, while those who are retained have manifested greater focus and motivation.

We have now retained Tom and his partners to drive the operational integration of the 5 units into a seemless and synergized franchise.
