Co-op bank in collaboration with International Finance Corporation (IFC) and with original equipment manufacturers has developed a financing solution for enterprises in the medical sector. Africa Medical Equipment facility which supports clinics, hospitals, medical imaging centers, and laboratorY machines like MRIs, CT scans, etc.



The main objective of the partnership is to promote access to financing for SMEs in the healthcare space that would ordinarily struggle to get financing from Banks, especially due to a lack of collateral or financial skills, rendering them not able to put an acceptable financing proposal across to the Bank.
