In 2017, Ogaan was established with the goal of creating a way for employers and job seekers to connect quickly and easily from around the globe. Ogaan is a Somali word which translates to “to know”, and this captures our mission of increasing awareness and access to potential job opportunities. The job postings on our platform span across both the formal and informal sectors, so there is something for everyone. After signing up and providing information about your qualifications and experience, you will find job openings that you are eligible for. These can range from internships and part-time jobs to full-time employment opportunities. There is also a section dedicated to informal job postings where users can post and apply for short-term work.
