Calorifiers

We design, fabricate, install and commission horizontal and vertical battery calorifiers. The vessels have dished end at top and bottom and legs for supporting the same. The vessels are all of welded construction constructed from 6mm low carbon steel plate using the MIG and arc weld process.

Calorifiers would have the following attachments:

One bolted inspection flange for receiving battery
One bolted inspection flange for internal maintenance
One new set of flange gaskets
A cold feed connection
A valved drain connection on underside
A secondary flow connection.
A thermostat connection
A safety relief valve connection
A secondary return connection
A boss for thermometer
A boss for pressure gauge
The battery coils are made of copper tubes. All bosses are made steam weld type. The vessels are designed to operate at client required head (bar). A hydrostatic test is carried out to a pressure above the working pressure. The vessels would be surface coated internally .ie. two coats of epoxy paint for long life. The external surface of the vessel being primer painted red oxide. The vessels when installed would be covered in suitable insulation of minimum thickness of 50mm and covered in alluminum sheet cladding for protection and long life.
