Our client, with a mandate is to promote trade and investments between East and Horn Africa, and Southeast Asia is seeking to recruit an Office Manager . Based in Nairobi, office manager will work with the Regional Director, to support the Centre’s administration, finance, Procurement, HR and logistics work in accordance with the company daily operations. The Office Manager will also be responsible for assisting the Regional Director in handling enquiries related to market and trade, involving Southeast Asia companies. The ideal candidate Must have prior experience is a similar role and have Strong communications, interpersonal and analytical skills.
Key Requirements:
- Manage the daily administration of the Centre, including, but not limited to, finance matters, budgeting, monitoring of expense utilisation and rental/deposit payments, renewal payments of licences/bank, application, and renewals of permits/insurance as per local requirement, procurement and vendors management.
- Oversee the maintenance of the office and its inventories and assets;
- Support the Regional Director, and the efforts of Singapore companies to enter the East African markets,
- Proactively source for, and acquire, information and intelligence strategic to the interests of Enterprise Singapore and its constituent companies.
- Cultivate and promote interest in Singapore, as a strategic regional base for foreign business entities.
- Support the Regional Director in any other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A bachelors’ degree, preferably, in business management and/or administration.
- 3 – 5 years’ direct experience in office administration, finance and procurement.
- Good communications, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Good command of spoken and written English is mandatory.
- Independent, dynamic, versatile, ability to work in a fast-pace environment, and well-rounded personality.
- Ideal to have experience working in an international environment.
