Our client, a security firm with its head office based in Karen, is looking to recruit a Procurement Officer . The successful candidate will be responsible for procurement, asset & store management as well as petty cash management. He/she Must be proficient in Sage and have CPA 2. The ideal candidate MUST have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update records and manage inventory.
  • Prepare budget for the procurement department.
  • Establish and implement internal controls systems and procedures.
  • Assist to prepare quarterly/annual procurement plan and implementation.
  • Prepare and maintain database of approved suppliers.
  • Prepare quotation documents for various procurements from local suppliers.
  • Verify local purchase orders to ensure their accuracy and raise orders.
  • Controlling stores stock levels and ensuring that proper records of the stores are maintained.
  • Petty Cash Management.


  • Must have a degree/diploma in Procurement or related field.
  • Must have CPA 2.
  • Must have 2 years of experience in procurement.
  • Proven ability to coordinate with other departments within a company.
  • Excellent reporting and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must have the ability to work in a rapidly changing and growth-oriented environment.
  • Driven organized and resourceful with the ability to prioritize.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 38,000 - 45,000/= (Approx. 380 - 450 USD) depending on experience. (KES)
