Assistant Manager -process & Maintenance Will Assist and Support The Process & Maintenance Manager in Ensuring All Production Equipments Are Readily Available for Production Purposes and Safe for Utility. Ensuring There Is Preventive Maintenance Schedule in Place and All Operators Are Conversant With Their Use. Other Duties Includes :-assisting in Ensuring The Factory Equipment Are Operational for Use.assisting in Ensuring Compliance of The Same Equipments Meet Standards.assisting in Ensuring Preventative Maintenance Is Done On a Daily Basis.assisting in Advicing The Management On The Best Ways To Achieve High Productivity With The Existing Equipments.assisting in Carrying Out Commissioning of New Projects and Start Ups.assisting in Training The Operators On The Optimum Use of The Machines in Place.maintaining a Safe and Clean Environment Within The Process Area.assisting in Monitoring Service Contracts With Suppliers To Ensure That Maintenance and Any Repair Work Is Carried Out To The Required Standards and To Deal With Suppliers and Vendors On Selection, Installation and Problem Resolution.to Assist As The Custodian of Service Manuals and Schematics for Every Piece of Equipmentto Assist in Carrying Out Basic Servicing and Repair of All Equipment, and To Order for The Required Maintenance Items and Test Equipment.to Assist in Dealing With Operator Problems and To Train Staff in The Operation of New Equipment in Their Departments.to Document Written Procedures for Preventive Maintenance and To Advise His Team Accordingly. Schedule and Implement Maintenance Systems.to Assist in Developing and Maintaining An Inventory of Repair Parts and Test Equipment Necessary To Ensure Minimum Down Time.to Assist in Guiding The Staff Under Him and To Supervise Them To Ensure That All Maintenance Work Is Carried Out Correctly and On Time.to Assist in Contributing in The Preparation of The Maintenance Department Annual Budget in Consultation With The Managing Director and To Monitor and Control Material Usage To Ensure Cost-effectiveness in All Jobs.assist in Ensuring Availability of The Equipments and Advise On Improvements Required.assist in Ensuring Short Breakdown Times.assist in Monitoring and Implementing Cost Reduction.assist in Scheduling for Upgrading Programs of Process.assist Scheduling for External Customers (co- Packing).assist To Carrying Out Any Other Duties That May Be Assigned To Him By The Management From Time To Time.
Requirements
  • At Least 3 Years Progressive Working Experience Doing Process and Maintenance Management in a Busy Fmcg Manufacturing Company. Those Who Have Worked in Beverage Or Food Processing Companies Will Have An Added Advantage.
Responsibilities
  • Bsc Degree in Mechanical Or Electrical Engineering Or Related Field. Diploma/technician Ii in Mechanical/electrical Engineering.

Kshs. 100,000 - 180,000 Plus Benefits (KES)
