Kenya Meat Commission - Nairobi

The Kenya Meat Commission (KMC) was formed in 1950 through an Act of Parliament.The Government re-opened it for operations on 26 June 2006, after years of closure. This was done in recognition of the fact that with its capacity to slaughter 1,000 head of large stock and 1,500 small stocks per day, it would complement Government efforts in Kenya's economic recovery. KMC places high premium on excellent service delivery. We recognize this as a critical factor in attaining our goals.
