I am a relatively frequent traveller, using IMANI shuttle services 2 - 3 times every week. I am a faithful customer because of reliability of the services. I also like that it is an express journey, with only one stop at the parcel pick-up/drop-off office at Mwea.The vehicles are also clean, which we appreciate.
However, the vehicles may benefit from some maintenance especially the suspension. The road after Makutano has many bumps, making the rear seat extremely uncomfortable.
The staff are also polite, with only one exception; A driver called Kinyua who drives extremely recklessly, speeding even around corners. All the passengers had to scream in fear, several times, to no avail. The journey was the worst I have ever had. Frequent travellers opt to wait for another vehicle when we see him at the driver's seat. Upon enquiry at the Nairobi office we were shocked to be told that we should not worry, he is an expert driver, he used to drive the 'miraa' vehicles!!
I feel that this driver will jeopardise all the good work put into providing this service. The last thing we want is a terrible accident we could have prevented.
