Looks like Horizon has a reputation of using poorly serviced vehicles that break down and then they neglect the passengers. Seriously this is the worst case of poor service I have ever experienced in my life! The Horizon van broke down at 11.30 pm at Mlolongo, one of the service ladies abandoned us on the road and we had to find our own transport back. At 2 am at night!!! The management is clearly negligent of what is going on but this case of van KCC 103 N is a clear testimony of - use Horizon services at your own risk and peril.

Disappointed customer. Travelled from Nairobi to Mombasa on Wednesday 21st September and the bus broke down after Mariakani. We waited for about two hours. It started and broke down again at Mikindani. The crew didn't bother arranging for alternative transport. We had to make our owm way to town. Wasted my time. One thing is for sure, I won't use your lousy srrvices and I will tell tell everyone how disappointing and terrible the service is.

This is my first time I have travelled with your busses from Nairobi to Mombasa and back.
The first trip was on the Thursday of 24th April 2016. As a family we had booked the whole bus (mini) and were scheduled to leave at 10.00 a.m. from Oil Libya. The bus did not arrive until about 11.00 o'clock. There was no explanation why the bus was delayed. When we arrived in Mombasa the driver (apparently his name was Shaaban)categorically refused to drop us along the route. He was only going to take a detour via Makupa Police Station. I am very well informed that the bus (van) just went to your offices and took passengers to travel back to Nairobi.
ON our return journey on Monday 28th April 2016 we were given a bus whose air-conditioning system wasn't working. The driver told us that he had just realized that the system wasn't working so were to drive to Nairobi in an oven.
