FedEx company is a scam, they are colluding with customs to uplift items and if that doesn’t work they apply their plan B, that anything worth $20 and above attracts taxes, seriously, how much would a parcel worth $20 attract.. tell friends to tell friends that this company is a scam. By the way, gave 1 star because there’s no a minus!

My package arrived in the country weeks ago and the company has been completley unable to deliver to me or to clearly explain why there is a delay. The emails are all bouncing back and calls to the numbers provided online are not picked up. Very frustrated. Worst delivery service ever!

A package took less than a week to arrive in Kenya and more than a month for them to deliver. They don’t respond to emails and don’t pick up their phones not forgetting their charges which keep on chancing. Avoid them like a plague

I’m not even sure why deltahs/fedex exist!!! The taxes they impose are ridiculous and the service is very poor!!! If it is already too late and you’ve found yourself shipping with them, ask for the KRA official E-slip and not their imaginary invoice. It’s been two months after making payment and they still haven’t delivered my package. Very disappointing!

If you are reading this, you probably have already suffered at the hands of the Fedex Kenya /Delta Handling office. Few people can imagine what a harrowing experience it is to deal with this company. Your worst shipping nightmare imagined is not close to what you go through with this company. Even a delay of 1 week is painful, but I endured a delay of over 4 months. They don't pick up calls, they change staff multiple times, they asked me to pay taxes in the same email thread where they confirmed having received the same taxes. I even wrote to my lawyer for legal action. This company is no good. What a shipping mess. Superlatives of their failure fail me. Run from this company. Write reviews, alert your contacts, post on FB, everyone should send an urgent stop to their overseas partners to NEVER use Fedex when shipping to Kenya. In the time that my shipment was stuck, my wife received a shipment through the snail pace post office. I received a USA shipment from UPS in less than a week. This company is the lowest of the low. People should check whether their KRA licence is still valid. Shambles. How can a shipment take 4 months? What excuse? My foreign invoice included $500 for shipping, but the service I got was not worth a toothpick in Nairobi river.

I BESEECH YOU TO AVOID SHIPPING VIA FEDEX & DELTA HANDLING SERVICES AT ALL COSTS. MY PACKAGE TOOK EXACTLY 4 days FROM MALAYSIA TO NAIROBI BUT HAS BEEN HELD HOSTAGE BY DELTA AT JKIA FOR MORE THAN 13DAYS DESPITE PAYING THOSE EXORBITANT FEES!! A LESSON PAINFULLY LEARNT..AVOID FEDEX & DELTA HANDLING SERVICES LIKE A PLAGUE!!

My items have been there for 12 days, no update no response to mails. Four people are in copy but none of them is responsive. I have never experienced such terrible service. I am shocked that the four people behave the same. It is surprising that all the people are not sensitive to anyone's need.

they took our money for a re-import certificate. then seemingly did not apply for the certificate i.e. they took the money under false pretence. when our goods were returned to kenya after being repaired - there was no re-import certificate - FEDEX staff have delayed DHL use for 6 weeks with claims that the certificate was paid for but not produced it. way below expectation and zero stars - do not use this company.

FedEx working with delta to clear parcels is the worst...systems never work...they never respond to emails..they never pick your phonecalls..pathetic!!

Do not, I repeat do not ship with FedEx Kenya. They have the worst customer service ever! Your shipment will be delayed, they never pick up the numbers they provide for customer service. THE WORST COURIER SERVICE EVER! Trust me, don’t waste your time or money!

I don't really understand if there are any operational structures in this company. A parcel takes 5 days to get to the country but take 2 months plus to get cleared and delivered to the client.

Endless phone calls that go unanswered and when they do, the same lie just different sources. It's beyond exhausting to follow-up with their customer care. Just two inefficient companies working together (Delta Handling Services and Fedex) Shame on you!! I can't sub contract you for a clearing role and I still look helpless to my clients and refer them to you. WHo even does that? How unprofessional is that? Enough is enough!!

We live to fight another day, just hoping I'll get the consignment before June ends. That is how hopeless I've become. If you do not want to serve your customers though, just close shop and go home there other better courier services who actually deliver. And to think my mistake was being sent an urgent shipment with Fedex!!!! So before you send any parcel with Fedex, Think twice!

Dealing with delta handling services has been the worst nightmare ever. I will never use this company ever again! My parcel was an urgent one which was due to be delivered in 5 days from the Uk. Picked up on 10th May2021. Still not delivered. I have tried to contact delta handling( fedex Kenya) with no joy. Apparently the phones are having technical issues. But the phones worked fine when they called to collect the rip off customs charges on the 19th of May approx 17,444kshs. This is what I call daylight robbery. The parcel is still being cleared. Somehow they have a backlog in clearance. But no one mentioned this backlog when I was paying for the express delivery fee. The customer service is of no service. If they can’t do their job then might as well shut shop. DHL is highly recommended and far more professional. Fedex Kenya is the most useless courier company I have ever come across.one month later 16th June today “Parcel still in clearing” what rubbish! It is now over a month I have still been chasing my parcel.Fedex Kenya need to pull their finger out and learn how to work. Recipient is unhappy. I will definitely be claiming a compensation from them. But do they care? Oh customer service doesn’t exist.

Today is 22/02/21 almost 2 months after the package was supposed to have been delivered/picked up. This package is coming from USA heading to Nairobi. Clearance issues started last week of December. It was only roughly 2 weeks ago that package was 'released'. This is when the nightmare starts/continues. We get communication that duty and fees are due. What was surprising was the total amount of these 'fees'. Tax is one thing, but all the other fees were striking. Due to the sentimental value of the package, we decide to go ahead and pay. Guess what? Yesterday we get communication that due to a change in fee structure more cash was due, almost 5000 Ksh. At this point its clear this package is being held hostage. This company Delta Handling Services is really making a killing. Its now my mission to dissuade as many people as I can to avoid sending packages to Kenya via Fedex. Seriously, look up the other reviews online about this. Your hard earned money deserves more respect!
FYI- other couriers are cheaper with less hidden fees by their associates.

Fedex kenya is the worst company to deal with if you are looking to get something into kenya from overseas. First of all no numbers on the website functions and you'll have a mandatory 2 to 3 weeks of delay after it has already arrived in Kenya.They will in no way sympathize with the urgency of your situation as they do not operate with any work ethics no cooperation of any kind and leave the customer completey frustrated and at the end you might not receive your package or end up paying more than what it cost you to purchase the item. Take my advice and Run. DHL Is worth few more shillings.
