What is EDEX About?
EDEX is about an individual’s well being – emotionally and mentally. Healthy individuals perform well and are happy at their work place. EDEX is about helping people to overcome their limiting beliefs and develop new and supportive beliefs that not only benefit themselves but the organisation and the whole environment in general. In short it is about changing negative attitudes to positive attitudes to support success processes.
We support NGO;s and other donor organizations in implementing behavior change training for the projects they are involved in. Success is 80% and 20% skill; it is paramount to support behavior change in a very professional.

A. Corporate products
1. Coaching Leadership

Coaching leadership uses Neuro Linguistic programming (NLP), psychological skills for influencing, communicating, motivating, understanding and leading people to peak performance. Coaching leadership focuses on communication skills, motivation skills and leadership skills.
How would it be when you as a manager, team leader, and supervisor have a good understanding of how each team member best functions?? It is then very easy to get optimum results from each member. Know that team members are wired differently yet they all can perform well for the organisation. You have to reach to each in their most preferred way, and performance, communication will flow effortlessly. Coaching leadership is the product for you.
Note: Coaching leadership is offered to the general public and is also available in-house for corporate clients. It is available in two modules of five full days each.

2. Team building and bonding
EDEX offers teambuilding and bonding programmes for corporate clients from diverse backgrounds. We are proud to give you a quote of our team building rates, recommend suitable venues and train you and your team. We recommend post training one on one coaching with team members at an additional fee. One on one coaching, in our opinion helps people break through negative patterns that hinder team cohesion within an organisation.

3. Sales Training

EDEX offers sales training for sales professionals working in companies. Our sales training is geared towards making optimum contact with prospectives, handling and dealing with rejection among other areas. 4. Students Leadership development programmes
This programme is offered to both high school and primary school students. It a six day programme aimed to equip the participants with skills on:


• Leadership
• Communication
• Personality typing
• Attitude and attitude change
• Drugs and substance abuse
• Grooming and etiquette

Note: This programme can also be tailored to meet specific needs of a school. Note during the programme, students / participants will be expected to carry out a corporate social responsibility project as part of giving back to the community and leadership development.


B. Personal development programmes

1. NLP practitioner and Master Practitioner
There was this lady who went studying NLP. One day she came home and her son asked her, “What is NLP mom?” Mama said, “I will tell you later, first go ask your granddad how he is feeling today”. Grand dad was suffering from arthritis and was sitting under a tree, looking very miserable. So the grand son went over to his grand dad and asked how he was. Granddad reported feeling terrible, his hands were stiff, and he felt cold and all kind of things. He was terribly unwell.
Grand son went back to his mom and reported what had happened and demanded that mama tells him what NLP is!!! But mama told him to go to his grandpapa again and ask the most funny thing he (grandson) did as a small little boy.
Grandson went and asked his grandpapa the most funny thing he ever did as a child. Grand papa lifted his face, all of a sudden there was a smile across his face. He even managed a laugh! And Grand papa stated, “there was a day you and your friends were playing outside and singing so loud, our neighbour was not happy. He came to complain. You told him to go and blow his head off.”” Both Grandpapa and son were laughing loudly, and thereafter the young man went to his mother and reported what had happened. And Asked Mama to finally tell him what NLP is!!
Mama said, what you just did with your grandpa is NLP – helping people change, shift limiting focus and perceptions. In a nutshell this is a little bit of what NLP is yet it is more than just shifting perceptions and focus.
NLP practitioner is 18day programme spread over a number of months. Upon successful completion, you may follow another 18day programme to be certified as master practitioner.
2. Family constellations

Is it possible that there is unspoken loyalty in families?? Loyalty based on love and connection? Is it possible that this connection is totally unconscious that we are not even aware of?? If you are born into a poor family, out of loyalty as children, there is a subconscious desire to remain loyal to the family poverty!! We may try all sorts of things, actions, but success is very difficult to come by – because we are loyal to our system of origin. Can we break these bonds?? Of course yes. Through family constellations, we can break these strong bonds related to illnesses, loneliness, poverty, anger, sadness etc and start living our own lives.

3. Transformational Breathing sessions

As we breathe shall we live our lives. The deeper you breathe the deeper and connected you are with life. The shallower your breath, the less connected, motivated you may be in life. You are almost blocked out of life. By having a breathing session, you will have an analysis of your breathing patterns, which tells you what is going on in your life. By changing your breathing pattern, you open up for new and different possibilities in life.

4. Personal coaching services

A life coach is a guy or lady who helps you unleash your potential and live your life with joy and fulfilment. He helps you tap into your underlying potential. You don’t go to see a coach because you have a problem or because you need some sort of therapy, but because you believe that he / she can support you in achieving your dreams, improving your present life situation through guidance. A coach is a good friend by all means.

Alexandra Vaporidis
Alexandra is one of our lead trainers. She is a school counsellor. Certified NLP trainer, Quantum life coach. She has previously worked in Ethiopia as school counsellor, Premier academy in Nairobi as school counsellor and sees clients privately at our practice in Ruaka

Sam Sambu Wanyama
Sam Sambu Wanyama has a background in business management and marketing. He is also an IT expert and enjoys working with young people as a mentor / coach.

Bernard Opondo Ochieng
With a background in business administration majoring in accounting, Bernard is a staunch christian who brings christian values to EDEX. He enjoys mentoring, uiding and coaching. When not busy at EDEX he does some private business in the audit field.
